Department of Vetrans Affairs

The mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs is to serve America’s veterans and their families with dignity and compassion and to be their principle advocate in ensuring that they receive the care, support, and recognition earned in service to the nation. An internship with the VA could involve health care administration, medical science, nursing, occupational therapy, food science, engineering, business administration, public administration, social work, computer science or education.

Here are some examples within the Department of Veterans Affairs where students have interned.
