The CIA is responsible for the collection and evaluation of foreign intelligence. Senior policy officials of the U.S. government use this information to make decisions in times of peace or national peril. The CIA works to provide the most accurate, comprehensive, and objective information available about national security matters and possible impending foreign developments. An internship with the CIA could involve accounting, finance, computer science, engineering, economics, non-romance languages, or foreign-area studies.
(NOTE: Due to a required security clearance, the CIA has early application deadlines for fall and summer.)
