Does HACU pay for my housing? Print This   E-mail This

While HACU provides housing arrangments for interns, the organization does not have the resources to actually pay intern rent.  Below is a list of what HACU provides for its interns:

-Furnished apartments in safe and convenient locations

-Subsidized rent, not to exceed a maximum of $700 per month

-Up front costs, including security deposits

-A credit check on your behalf

Federal interns will have their rent equally distributed and deducted from their bi-weekly paychecks.  Corporate interns will arrange housing with the help of their sponsors.  All HACU interns can opt out of arranged housing, and arrange their own housing, if requested.
