Can I do an internship in the same city where I go to school? Print This   E-mail This   
This often does not work out.  Typically, 2/3 of the internship positions are located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area while the other 1/3 are located in cities throughout the U.S.  We do not know from session to session which agencies/corporations and locations will be requesting interns.  Therefore, if you request an internship in a specific city you are dramatically reducing your chances of being selected for an internship
