I am a senior from California State University, San Bernardino majoring in accounting. I have to admit I was a little nervous about doing an internship across the United States. I had no idea of where I would live, or how I would get to work. HACU really went out of there way to help me get settled in. I was amazed at the support and help I receive from not only the program, but fellow interns, who were in the same position as I was in.
I worked at the Library of Congress, United States Copyright Division as a financial specialist. The office was so supportive and the work I received was very challenging. The experience I gained was irreplaceable. Anytime I interview, the first question is, “tell me about your internship in DC”? HACU has and is continuing to open door’s that were never available before, Thank you and please continue giving us opportunities to be successful.
