MRivera

The HNIP internship program changed my life entirely and made me the person I am today. I have grown personally and professionally. The program definitely guided me towards my goals.

Currently, I am a part time social work research professor at one of the HACU HSIs. In the future I hope to complete other projects that I have in mind that will allow me to continue to enhance my kowledge and at the same time it will give me the oppotunity to help others in need living in our community.

One of my dream's is to complete my PhD in social work and to represent with competence, leadership and dignity the Hispanic population in the mainland. I hope that I can return to Washington DC or another location to work with the federal government.

I must repeat that I believe in HACU because it functions... it did with me and it can with you.
