In the summer of 2005, HACU offered me the wonderful opportunity to intern at the Department of the Treasury in the Office of the CIO.  Through this internship, I learned of the broad impact and extraordinary opportunities available through public service.  My supervisor also made certain that I had the opportunity to meet key contacts at various agencies and explore potential career areas.

After I completed my master’s degree, I realized that I missed government work.  I reached out to my internship supervisor who was then able to offer me a job as a Management Analyst.  My current position focuses on the success of department wide efforts for various key programs.  I am certain this position will lead to fantastic career challenges and will open the door to marvelous new opportunities – all thanks to HACU.
