The HACU National Internship Program gave me the opportunity to work at the Veterans Benefits Administration in Washington, D.C.  The internship allowed me to gain a better understanding of Human Resources by participating in trainings and conference meetings. I was also able to attend HACU scheduled events such as congressional breakfasts where I had the opportunity to meet congresswoman Linda Sanchez. The internship was a fun and professionally enriching experience. I would definitely apply again!
